The Adizone is part of a wider program of works to improve the existing tennis courts, access, car parking and landscape improvements such as additional tree planting. The completion of the scheme is scheduled for mid June 2012 to optimise the Olympic legacy context, with construction starting during mid April.

A briefing letter has been sent to nearby residents (whose property immediately abuts the park) to inform people of this scheme.

Commented Paul van Damme (Parks & Heritage Services Manager), "This proposal and implementation is a very positive and welcome development which will add a great deal of user value to Andrews Park, on the back of recent additions and improvements to the play area."
